MBS Pharma is a pharmaceutical company progressing drug discovery and development projects through a virtual model of partnerships and CROs. It can also provide consulting services for other pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

MBS Pharma was founded in 2018 by Dr. Johan Lund MD/PhD. Johan Lund is an experienced scientific leader of drug discovery and development who has held a number of senior executive roles in pharmaceutical industry. Most recently he was VP of Translational R&D, at Celgene, Cambridge, MA where he was responsible for discovery and early development of new therapies for diseases within Inflammation and Immunology.

Prior to joining Celgene, he served as Chief Scientific Officer, Immunoscience Research Unit at Pfizer, Cambridge MA and also spent fourteen years with AstraZeneca where he held a number of senior positions in both Sweden and the UK, including VP CNS&Pain Innovative Medicines Science and VP Respiratory and Inflammation Research. Earlier in his career Dr Lund was Professor and Chairman of Anatomy and Cell Biology Department, University of Bergen Medical Faculty and Associate Professor, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm.
